Risk management and continuous improvement
Tyrolit carries out regular risk analyses and checks – if necessary – the operating procedures of our suppliers on site. If Tyrolit is of the opinion that a supplier does not fulfil the requirements and expectations, Tyrolit will provide recommendations for action, identifying issues for which corrective measures or improvements are required.
Maintaining high standards through the Tyrolit Code of Conduct for suppliers
By partnership-based cooperation, we mean responsible behaviour that ensures compliance with high standards. The Tyrolit Code of Conduct for suppliers forms the basis of these shared values. This code relates to various areas such as human rights, energy management and environmental protection. Compliance with these standards is meticulously monitored by a system of key performance indicators. It is also part of the General Terms and Conditions of Purchase and requires our suppliers to ensure that their suppliers comply with the Code of Conduct for suppliers as well.

As a globally active production company, Tyrolit is constantly looking for potential suppliers around the world. We are particularly interested in the following product and service categories:

Our supplier selection process consists of three steps:
Identification
We are proactively looking for new partners and suppliers – e.g. at trade fairs – and often act upon recommendations. Please use the supplier self-assessment form.
Suitability evaluation
Risk assessments are conducted and aspects such as compliance (Code of Conduct, REACH, conflict minerals) are assessed and quotes and first sample deliveries are checked.
Technical qualification
Successful evaluation is followed by technical trials and tests, site visits and the drafting of quality management agreements.

Delivery conditions
Deliveries
The respective delivery address is shown on all orders. Please take note as well of the delivery times of each location (see below). Deliveries outside the specified delivery times must be announced and approved in advance. Please make every effort to adhere to this requirement. Costs incurred in the event of non-adherence to delivery times or delivery to an incorrect address will be passed on to the supplier.
Shipping documents
Deliveries must be accompanied by properly completed paperwork, with the full Tyrolit purchase order number clearly visible.
