Quality is part of our corporate culture
Tyrolit took a pioneering role in the abrasives industry by recognising the importance of a quality management system at an early stage. Today, the majority of Tyrolit companies are integrated into a common system. The management system comprises quality, environmental, occupational safety, risk and business continuity management systems and is subject to ongoing further development.
The integrated management system makes it possible to use synergies between different areas, identify and solve problems at an early stage and compare the performance of different sites using KPIs. In addition to regular reviews by an external certification company, the management system is monitored through internal audits.
Product safety
Tyrolit applies the legal requirements and safety standards relevant to each product category. Abrasive products bearing the oSa mark meet the applicable oSa requirements. Machines subject to CE marking undergo the required conformity assessment and bear the CE mark. We continuously review opportunities to further improve product safety.
Note: Tyrolit strongly discourages the use of grinding tools that do not carry the oSa mark or refer to EN 13236 for diamond tools, EN 12413 for cut-off and grinding wheels or EN 13743 for flap discs.
