Tyrol Apprentice Hackathon 2025

Our young talents take first place
At this year's Tyrolean Apprentice Hackathon, three of our apprentices impressed with their technical creativity and team spirit: Julia, Pia, and Joel—all in their first year of training as office administrators—secured first place in the “Rookie” category.

Digital solution for greater workplace safety

The Apprentice Hackathon offers young talents from all over Tyrol the opportunity to develop digital solutions for real-life challenges. In a short space of time, they created “AidMate” – an app that digitally records first aid kits, makes their contents transparent and alerts users when items need to be replenished. The aim is to improve first aid in the workplace. Or as the team itself put it: “Preparation saves lives.”

Commitment beyond training

What is particularly remarkable is that the three young professionals tackled a topic that goes far beyond the scope of their training – with initiative, technical interest, and a clear idea of how digital solutions can support everyday life.

Their success at the hackathon confirms once again how much potential the next generation has – if you give them the space to develop ideas independently and take responsibility. We congratulate Julia, Pia, and Joel on this achievement.

Tyrolit is committed to the future.
We take responsibility and make our contribution to the sustainable development of the economy.
