Packaging optimisation: less wrapping film per Euro pallet
By changing the wrapping film used for a standard Euro pallet, Tyrolit reduced the film weight per pallet from 0.50 kg to 0.15 kg compared with the previous packaging setup.
The film thickness was reduced from 21 µm to 17 µm, and the new film is pre-stretched. The change was supported by investments in new packaging machines.
