With MoveSmart Technology, TYROLIT machines are connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) for the very first time. Using an integrated module in the machine, the technology collects real-time user data for optimal and smooth operation and makes this data available to eligible users anywhere and at any time through our specially developed app. The data is saved in an encoded and secure cloud.
How long have my machines been in use? Are any service appointments or updates due so that I can keep my machine working properly? Where is the closest machine in my fleet? Are there any errors and, if so, can I fix them myself? Do my employees use the machine correctly or do they need further training in the handling of it? All these questions are answered with the help of MoveSmart Technology. By using the collected data, contractors can plan better and increase productivity, giving them a clear competitive advantage.
Users at the construction site, on the other hand, benefit from faster service and fully functioning, safe machines. In some cases, it will even be possible to fix operating problems directly at the construction site, thus ensuring that they lose no time in getting the job done. The technology works with software and hardware solutions co-developed with Austrian start-up company ToolSense. »It is our goal to design the construction site of the future to be networked, fully digitalised and highly industrialised. This requires machines that speak the same IoT language. Only then can the customer realise the desired increase in productivity,« says Alexander Manafi, CEO, ToolSense GmbH.
MoveSmart Technology has initially been integrated into our top-selling WSE1621 wall saw. However, on request the module can also be integrated into some of our existing machines, such as the WSE1217. This state-of-the-art technology is set to be included in further product groups.
